Synopsis
In a world where women are disposable, the Duke's courtiers play a trick on Rigoletto, by kidnapping his daughter Gilda. Despite the Duke's promiscious nature, Gilda falls in love with him. Rigoletto seeks vengeance for the Duke dishonouring his daughter and employs Sparafucile's services as an assassin. In a tragic ending, Gilda disguisese herself to save the Duke and her father from death, where she falls victim to Rigoletto's revenge.
